The iPhone 5 release date is changing every hour it would seem, first we have AT&T saying that it would be out in September, then this week we had some comedy photo shopping of a 4-inch version coming in the summer – now we’ve got Phones 4u, who seem to think that it’s coming in November 21st.
Now we have to admit that we’ve never liked Phones 4u, we’ve always found their level of customer service pretty shocking so a rumour of this magnitude just seems laughable, but we’ll entertain it for all of five minutes.
They are so confident in their knowledge they’ve even given the handset a full release date of November 21st.
The retailer announced that Apple’s next generation handset, which they given a firm date of November 21st, would “be pretty much the same as the iPhone 4 with new software. The software is the main difference with the iPhone 5.”
They seem to think that Apple want to aim at customers that cannot afford the current iPhone so will work on making the whole thing cheaper, so cheaper to make and cheaper tariffs.
Apparently T3.com, has spoken to a customer sales representative, yeah you know the ones on £15k a year, they’re are just full of all the latest news from Apple it would seem, and they spoke to this so-called phone oracle at a branch in the small town called St Albans – who apparently said the “iPhone 5 has been delayed until November following an issue with the handset’s software.”
I don’t think we’ve ever heard a weaker rumour than this in our life to think that that some dude in St Albans knows something we don’t is just laughable, but you never know he might be on to something. Might. Being the important word.

A September unveil has been muted for the iPhone 5, doing away with Apple’s previously rigid annual summer release schedule. But it’s just to early to say at the moment, my money is on the annual summer time frame, but I’m ever the optimist.
The Worldwide Developers Conference is scheduled to kick off on June 6th with the expected appearance of Steve Jobs we should know more then, if there’s no iPhone unveiled they could be on to something.
